Types of Vampires
There are many types of vampires, created either through legend, folklore, or through media, including literature, art, and films. Numerous countries all over the world have their own story on how vampires really are. There are Slavic vampires, Romanian vampires, Roma vampire beliefs. There are blood vampires, who are known to have an irresistible urge for blood, and must feast on blood in order to survive. These vampires are also called “blood vamps.” There are also Energy vampires, who feed not on merely blood, but energy. They sense energy around them, and suck it in, in order to survive. This category of vampires includes Sexual energy vampires, Empathic vampires, and Elemental Energy vampires.
